The Bronston Chiropractic Story
In 1978, Dr. Bronston began his practice in Sparta, Wisconsin working for the Wolter Chiropractic Clinic. In 1979, Dr. Bronston purchased the clinic from Dr. Wolter and continued to build a successful practice. Due to expansion and to insure the best service to our patients, the Sparta facility was relocated to a new facility in 1985.
In 1984, the South La Crosse branch was opened. It was designed for performance of second opinion examinations for industry and the legal profession.
In 1986, the "Backmobile," a mobile laboratory for the diagnosis and treatment of lower back pain, was developed. The mobile unit was used for job related pre-placement testing, consulting on work environments and job tasks, and determining proper exercises for low back pain. In 2004, the Backmobile isokinetic/functional equipment was given to the Northwestern Health Sciences University for their research department.
Bronston Chiropractic had the first integrated practice as early as 1989 comprised of physical therapists, medical physicians, nurse practitioners, and athletic trainers.
During the summer of 1995, the La Crosse clinic was remodeled to expand the rehabilitation department. This included the addition of a state-of-the-art Swim Ex Rehabilitation Pool.
In 1997, Dr. Bronston opened his newest clinic in Onalaska, near the Valley View Mall area. In 2004, the clinic moved one block to a larger facility at Hwy 157 and Cty Rd. PH where it remains today.
The Fountain City clinic was acquired in October, 2005 from Michael Headlee D.C. This clinic was a branch site of Dr. Headlee's Whitehall location. The current building was purchased and remodeled in the fall of 2007.
Dr. Bronston is a renowned lecturer for several chiropractic colleges. He has authored several published research articles and chapters in two textbooks published by Aspen Press, a medical publishing company.
